This is the official recovery disc provided by Microsoft
to restore your Windows Vista system to an earlier state.

If you have a Vista Installation Disc, then you don't need this
as the installation disc can do the job.
But since most laptops these days come with Vista pre-installed
and Microsoft doesn't provide with the installation disc,
this is Microsoft's solution to the conundrum.
Usually the system restore function of the Windows takes
care of this; but in case you can't boot up your Windows Vista,
this little recovery tool can come in handy.
This is an .ISO BOOTABLE file. So you just need to download it
and burn it onto a CD (preferably at a slow speed 2x).
Use any burning software of your choice; just remember to burn
at a slow speed.
I personally find ImgBurn to be the best.
